Because women don’t enter a room nipples first

We need more
women writing women

We’re done with reading the words “supple bodies” and "lustriously plump hips” in our writing groups. The days of misogynistic writing are so beyond over, looking at you Jerry from the feedback group.

We’re ringing in a new era, one where women can create and share in an environment that’s both constructive and supportive.

From typing out your shitty first draft, to sitting on best sellers’ lists, the Women Writers’ Collective is a space to nourish your work in a community of dope-ass women.

What people are saying
(aww, shucks)

“The writer's group reminded me of why community, especially an international community of women, is so important to the creative process. The writer’s group is one of the few places where I have felt a perfect mixture of supportive encouragement and constructive feedback.

-Sydney O., Part of the Buenos Aires Women Writers Group, Working on a book of poetry

"The writer’s group has been an incredible gift. The thoughtful feedback, the sense of community, and having other women cheering me on and holding me accountable. It’s rare to find a space where you can share your work and feel both supported and challenged in the best way. I’m so grateful to Danielle for starting this group and creating such an inspiring, welcoming space."

-Aditi G., Part of the Buenos Aires Women Writers Group, Working nonfiction essays

Writing can get lonely, but it doesn’t have to. We’re here to bring the party.

With virtual finger foods, cyber martinis, and not a dull conversation anywhere to be found, think of it as your weekly writing soirée.

Whether you’re wanting to talk through character development for your next thriller, or looking for feedback on those poems you dashed off in your notes app, we’ve got you covered.

Women Writers’ Collective’s small online groups give you the space to workshop your ideas, the accountability to keep your ass in the chair, and the community that cheers you on to the finish line.

This group was born after attending one too many male-dominated writing rooms.

After sufficiently exhausting my friends and family (it’s a miracle I have friends left after begging them for the 76th time to just read this one paragraph and tell me if it makes sense), I tried hiring editors I’d found online through gig platforms. However they never quite hit the mark.

Next, I tried showing up at writing feedback groups, only to find I was the only person under 65, or that I was the sole woman in the room.

The Women Writers’ Collective was born after a fellow female writer and I sat through yet another male-dominated feedback group and listened to long tangents about world building. We knew we had to do something about it.

Whether you’re writing a coming-of-age satire about hitting puberty, or penning a zany sci-fi novella, it belongs here.

This space was created for women to take up space.
